A Starry Sky Overhead or a Star Studded Cosmos All Around

This modular fiber optic system allows the designer to create a dimensional star field.  As the audience walks or rides through the starry scene, the foreground stars appear to move swiftly against a backdrop of distant slowly moving stars.  This "multiplaning effect" adds a tremendous depth to any space.

The view out a space ship window.  A dream sequence or flight of imagination.  Time traveling to new dimensions.  A backdrop for an island floating in the void or lost in the river of time.  The all encompassing cosmos. Scenic elements limited only by your imagination.

For theme parks, museums, zoos, aquariums, science centers, galleries, visitor centers, exhibits, expos, restaurants, themed retail, promotional, projects, attractions - any themed environment where a dimensional star field helps deliver the message or tell the story.

Features and Benefits
Each module consists of a base containing an array of fiber optic star supports. After the base is attached to floor, wall, or ceiling, the supports are fanned out and bent into position. Modules containing 6, 8, or 12 stars are available. The supports can be 4, 6, or 8 feet long in order to adapt to any scenic requirement. Custom numbers of stars and varying support lengths can be accommodated.

The modules are mounted and star supports formed to create the star field desired. The available space can be filled so that stars are mounted far and near, in random clusters and is sparse areas.  Stars twinkle as they pass behind the unseen supports of other stars. Want a dim star in the distance? Just aim the star off-axis as desired to control brightness. The star field continually changes as the guests progress on their adventure.

Fiber Optic Illuminators
Many fiber optic illuminators are available to power the star field. The stars can be a cold clear winter's blue, a warm summer amber, or any stylized or "dream sequence" color. Changing colors and moving patterns of color are also possible. Contact RLH Enterprises for available options.
